Mystic Place Animal Sanctuary began with one dog and one heart forever changed.

His name was King Tut—my son, my best friend, and one of my greatest teachers. Through loving him, losing him, and learning from our journey together, I discovered a deeper truth:

Animals are not possessions. They are souls with their own voices, emotions, needs, and journeys.

Mystic Place was created to honor that truth.

We are a sanctuary built on compassion, trust, dignity, and respect—a place where animals can feel safe, be heard, and simply be who they are.

Our mission is to provide lifelong safety, humane care, and emotional and spiritual healing, while honoring each animal’s individuality, respecting their body’s wisdom, and allowing trust to lead.
